Aircom Media was first called New Albany Broadcasting Company, Inc. by founder Peter Boyce in 1993. In 2008 Mr. Boyce and David B. Smith, Sr. merged radio and TV entities to create a diverse group of media properties with TV, Radio and digital media. Pete has over 60 years of broadcast experience as an entrepreneur and engineer. Mr. Boyce served in the Arm Forces Radio Network in the US Army, operated his consultant engineering company and has been a broadcast property owner for many years before retiring. David B. Smith, Sr. has over 35 years of broadcasting experience in management, programming, on-air, marketing and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Smith has worked in broadcasting in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Los Angeles. San Francisco, Detroit and Louisville. Mr. Smith grew up in the broadcast business and continued his father’s legacy in broadcast management, engineering and ownership.
